Armenia registers 20.6% growth in construction in January-October

Construction worth 551.4 billion drams (1.447 billion dollars) was carried out in Armenia in January–October of this year, which represents a 20.6% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the Statistical Committee.

26.3% of total construction was financed from the state budget, amounting to 145.2 billion drams (a 38.2% increase).

Construction worth 27.9 billion drams was carried out with municipal funds (a 28.4% increase).

46.5% of total construction was funded by companies, amounting to more than 256.3 billion drams—a 15.5% increase. Construction financed by foreign investments amounted to nearly 1.3 billion drams, a 2.4% decrease.

Construction worth 120.1 billion drams was carried out by the population (individual construction), an increase of 14.9%, making up 21.8% of total construction.
