The National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia has approved the 2026 state budget. A total of 62 deputies voted in favor of the draft, 27 voted against, and 3 abstained.
Earlier in the National Assembly, Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan said that the 2026 draft budget is based on the same macroeconomic forecasts as the initial version: nominal GDP of 11 trillion 933 billion drams, economic growth of 5.4 percent, and a debt-to-GDP ratio of 52.9 percent.
State budget revenues are projected at 3 trillion 91 billion drams.
The deficit remains at 4.5% of GDP, amounting to 536.8 billion drams.
