Armenian Ambassador to U.S. meets Los Angeles Mayor to discuss cooperation opportunities

During a visit to California, Armenian Ambassador to the United States, Narek Mkrtchyan, met with Karen Bass, Mayor of Los Angeles. The Consul General of Armenia in Los Angeles, Karen Israyelyan, also attended the meeting.

According to a readout issued by the embassy, the meeting focused on opportunities for developing bilateral cooperation.

The Ambassador and the Mayor also reflected on the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the cities of Yerevan and Los Angeles, and, within this framework, the potential for cooperation was highlighted.
