Within the framework of the agreement reached during the meetings between the Special Representatives for the Armenia-Türkiye Normalization Process, representatives of the relevant institutions of the two countries convened on 28 November 2025, at the Akyaka–Akhurik border crossing between Armenia and Türkiye and in the city of Gyumri in Armenia.
Ruben Rubinyan, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly and Armenia’s envoy in the Armenian-Turkish dialogue process, announced the meeting on Facebook.
“The second stage of technical discussions aimed at the rehabilitation and reactivation of the Kars–Gyumri railway has been held,” Rubinyan said.
