Türkiye discusses regional cooperation amid Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process

The agenda of the latest meeting of Türkiye’s National Security Council included, among other items, the peace process in the South Caucasus.

The session was chaired by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, his office reported.

"In light of the recent positive developments in the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the possibilities for bilateral and regional cooperation have been discussed. The Turkish side’s commitment to establishing peace and stability in the South Caucasus and promoting development has been reaffirmed," the statement from the Turkish presidential office said.
