Armenian Prime Minister honored with Kazakhstan’s highest state award

Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev bestowed the Order of the Golden Eagle, the nation’s highest award, upon Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

“Dear Prime Minister, you are known to the international community as a strong, visionary leader and politician,” Tokayev told PM Pashinyan in Astana.

“In recognition of his role, today I have awarded Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan the highest state award of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This gesture is a symbol of the friendship between our countries and also demonstrates our intention to further deepen our mutual ties in the future,” Tokayev said at a press conference.
