Forty-five new trolleybuses acquired by Yerevan will be shipped to the Armenian capital in the first half of 2026, Mayor Tigran Avinyan said at a City Council meeting.

“We are purchasing forty-five 12-meter trolleybuses, for which the advance payment has already been made. They will be delivered in the first half of next year,” Avinyan said.

The Mayor of Yerevan emphasized that the city plans to subsequently acquire 250 18-meter buses. According to him, these buses should be purchased in a single batch.

He added that the planned acquisition of the buses will be discussed at the Investment Committee meeting before the end of the year.
