Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan participated in the India Europe Business Partnership Roundtable ministerial segment held in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
The minister presented Armenia’s investment environment and major projects, with particular emphasis on Gyumri’s “dry port.”
“Armenia’s geographical location provides an opportunity to become an economic, cultural, and logistical bridge between Europe and Asia. In this regard, Armenia can connect India’s dynamic economy with Europe’s advanced markets, serving as an ideal hub for trade, manufacturing, and technological cooperation,” Papoyan said.
The minister also highlighted the TRIPP and “Crossroads of Peace” projects, emphasizing their importance for regional economic cooperation and long-term peace.
