Prosecutor-General Anna Vardapetyan has met with Vice President of the Military Judiciary Council of Italy Pietro Laffranco and members of the body.
The meeting was also attended by Vladimir Karapetyan, Ambassador of Armenia to Italy; Grigor Elizbaryan, Military Prosecutor and Deputy Prosecutor General of Armenia; and Yeghiazar Avagyan, Deputy Prosecutor General of Armenia.
Prosecutor-General Anna Vardapetyan expressed her gratitude to the Vice President of Italy’s Military Judicial Council for the warm reception and emphasized that a Memorandum of Understanding that will be signed today on enhancing cooperation between the Military Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Armenia and the Office of the Military Prosecutor General at the Court of Cassation of Italy will further expand the framework of professional collaboration between military prosecutors. During the meeting, the parties discussed a range of issues of mutual interest, Vardapetyan’s office said in a press release.
