Minister notes ‘positive dynamics’ in Armenia–U.S. defense ties

Defense Minister Suren Papikyan said Monday that Armenia and the United States have “quite positive dynamics” in the development of defense cooperation.
He was asked at a press briefing whether there were any agreements on potential defense supplies.
The minister said that he could not comment on any specific agreements but added, “There is quite a positive dynamic in the development of our cooperation.”
Papikyan visited the United States in October and attended the 2025 AUSA Exposition at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. He also held a number of bilateral meetings.
