PM Pashinyan meets with EUSR for Human Rights

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Kajsa Ollongren, EU Special Representative (EUSR) for Human Rights, in Paris.
During the meeting, issues related to the reforms initiated by the Government of Armenia to protect human rights, strengthen democratic institutions, and ensure the rule of law, as well as the agenda for cooperation in this direction, were discussed, the Prime Minister's Office reported.
Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized that the protection of human rights and the continuation of democratic reforms are among the Government of Armenia’s top priorities. He also stressed that democracy is not merely a choice for the government, but a strategic approach.
EU Special Representative Kajsa Ollongren, in turn, praised the Government of Armenia’s efforts to strengthen democratic institutions and implement reforms to protect human rights, emphasizing the EU’s readiness to continue close cooperation.
