Armenia’s Aleksandra Grigoryan wins gold at European Junior & U23 Championships

Armenian weightlifter Aleksandra Grigoryan won gold at the Junior 58kg category tournament of the EWF 2025 European Junior & U23 Championships in Durrës, Albania.

Grigoryan, Armenia's women’s national team athlete and 2024 European champion, successfully lifted 85kg, 89kg and 91kg in snatch, winning gold. In the clean and jerk, the Armenian weightlifter lifted 112 kg, 116 kg, and 123 kg, once again taking first place.

Grigoryan was crowned champion with a total result of 214kg, earning Armenia's first medal at the EWF 2025 European Junior & U23 Championships.
