Ministry of High-Tech industry to receive over 37.3 billion AMD in next year's budget

The Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia will be allocated 37.352 billion drams from the state budget for 2026, which is 10.157 billion drams less than the allocation for 2025, finance minister Vahe Hovhannisyan said at a joint parliamentary committee hearing on the government’s 2026 budget bill.
“Several programs are being implemented here, including the Development Program for the High-Tech Industry Ecosystem and Market, the formulation of state policy in the field of high-tech industry, coordination and monitoring of programs, the development of the defense industry system, the provision of telecommunications, and the implementation of the digital transformation process,” Hovhannisyan said.
