Armenia plans growth in manufacturing and mining sectors in 2026, Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan has said.
“Armenia expects growth in manufacturing and mining in 2026, with Amulsar contributing to this increase. We forecast extracting 4 tons of gold in 2026,” Hovhannisyan said at a parliamentary committee meeting on the 2026 budget bill.
Total investments in the Amulsar gold mine project will reach $750 million, of which $250 million is allocated to complete construction and start operations. The confirmed reserves at Amulsar are 73 tons of gold and 294 tons of silver.
