Armenia employment level reaches historic high

The employment level in Armenia has reached a new record high, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Thursday.

“As of September 2025, for the first time in history, the number of registered and salaried jobs in Armenia has surpassed the 800,000 mark. Historically, we have never had such a figure—805,687. Compared to September of the previous year, the number of jobs has increased by 37,140, or 4.8 percent,” Pashinyan said at the Cabinet meeting.

Pashinyan emphasized that since his administration took office in 2018, the number of registered and salaried jobs in Armenia has increased by 38%.
