Secretary of Security Council meets with Armenian, Azerbaijani civil society representatives in Yerevan

Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan on Wednesday met with participants of a bilateral roundtable discussion held in Yerevan with the participation of representatives of Armenian and Azerbaijani civil society, Grigoryan’s office said.

Grigoryan highly appreciated the holding of meetings in such a format within the framework of the Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization process, aimed at positively influencing the establishment of contacts between people.
He noted that the involvement of various layers of society would further strengthen peace.

Civil society representatives thanked the Armenian side for organizing the event and ensuring a positive atmosphere.
Participants emphasized the importance of continuing such initiatives aimed at strengthening mutual trust and cooperation.

In the second part of the meeting, the Secretary of the Security Council answered questions raised by the participants.
