Armenian PM, Italian President hold brief meeting in Vatican City

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a brief meeting with Italian President Sergio Mattarella during his visit to the Holy See.
On Sunday, the Armenian PM attended a Mass in St. Peter’s Square, where Pope Leo XIV canonized seven new saints, including Archbishop Ignatius Maloyan. The Prime Minister shared a video on social media showing his brief conversation with President Mattarella at St. Peter’s Square.
During the canonization ceremony, a prayer in Armenian was offered in honor of Archbishop Ignatius Maloyan. Pope Leo XIV also delivered his message and blessing to all attendees.
