Armenian Ambassador to France meets Paris-Saclay University students

A group of students from the Paris-Saclay University (Université Paris-Saclay) – a combined technological research institute and public research university in Orsay, France – visited the Armenian Embassy in Paris.

Ambassador of Armenia to France, Arman Khachatryan, during a meeting with the students, presented the Armenian foreign policy, the country’s role in international relations and its relations with neighboring countries, the embassy said in a press release.

The Ambassador also spoke about the declaration signed on August 8 in Washington by the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the United States, and to its importance in establishing peace in the South Caucasus.

Ambassador Khachatryan also spoke about the historical Armenian-French relations and the cooperation between Armenia and France in areas of strategic importance.

The Armenian Ambassador answered students’ questions, also addressing Armenia’s relations with the European Union, the upcoming Conference of the Parties on Biological Diversity (COP17) to be held in Armenia, as well as other bilateral and multilateral issues related to the country.
