Armenian Ambassador to Uruguay, Montevideo Mayor discuss development of ties

Armenian Ambassador to Uruguay, Mariam Gevorgyan, has met with the Mayor of Montevideo, Mario Bergara, the embassy said in a press release.

Ambassador Gevorgyan and Mayor Bergara discussed the possibilities for deepening bilateral ties, including prospects for establishing institutional cooperation between Yerevan and Montevideo, according to the readout.

“Ambassador Gevorgyan and Mayor Bergara highly valued the role of the Uruguayan-Armenian community in the development of bilateral relations,” the Embassy's statement said.
