Armenian Defense Minister, new UK ambassador discuss cooperation and regional security

Minister of Defense of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, held a meeting with the newly appointed British Ambassador to Armenia, Alexandra Cole.

Minister Papikyan congratulated Ambassador Cole on the commencement of her diplomatic mission in Armenia and wished her success in further strengthening cooperation between Armenia and the United Kingdom, according to a readout from the Ministry of Defense.

During the meeting, Minister Papikyan and Ambassador Cole discussed matters related to Armenia–UK defense cooperation, as well as a range of issues concerning regional and international security.
