Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with European Parliament President Roberta Metsola on the sidelines of the European Political Community Summit in Copenhagen, Denmark.
According to a readout from the Prime Minister's Office, the meeting focused on Armenia–EU cooperation and prospects for its expansion. The sides stressed the importance of joint initiatives aimed at strengthening democracy, the rule of law, regional stability, and economic development.
Prime Minister Pashinyan expressed appreciation for the European Parliament’s continued attention and support for Armenia, highlighting the agenda of deepening cooperation and partnership with the EU.
For her part, Metsola reaffirmed the European Parliament’s readiness to support Armenia in advancing democratic reforms, institutional development, and the peace agenda.
The parties also exchanged views on regional developments, the implementation of agreements reached at the Washington Peace Summit, and the TRIPP project.
