"Zangezur Corridor" refers to Horadiz-Zangilan road, not Armenia - Pashinyan

The so-called "Zangezur Corridor" is the Horadiz-Zangilan road, which may extend to a border point with Armenia, without actually reaching the Armenian border; it is not about the Republic of Armenia.

"My understanding is that when Azerbaijan refers to the "Zangezur Corridor,'' it means the Horadiz-Zangilan road. If they want to call it "Zangezur Corridor," let them. I can say with certainty that there is no such corridor within the Republic of Armenia, and I can prove it not only with my signature but also with the signature of the President of Azerbaijan," Pashinyan stated.

He added, "The Horadiz-Zangilan corridor may be described as a route leading to Zangezur-let them call it that. But it is not about Armenia."

Pashinyan emphasized that Armenia should not be concerned about what name Azerbaijan assigns. "They may decide to name it "Albert Einstein" . It has nothing to do with our sovereign territory. I have signed documents that are public. On our territory, there are routes called "Trump Route" and "Crossroads of Peace.'"

Speaking about the “Crossroads of Peace,” he highlighted that Armenia does not need approval from anyone to carry out projects on its land. “We do not need to agree with anyone on the name of a project on our territory. The agreed name is TRIPP (Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity). The "Zangezur Corridor" is the Horadiz-Zangilan road, which can extend to a border with Armenia without actually reaching Armenia's border,” the Prime Minister said.
