Armenia welcomes U.S. President Donald Trump’s peace proposal for ending the war in Gaza, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the PACE Plenary Session in Strasbourg.

He made the remarks during a Q&A session when asked whether there is optimism about ending the Gaza war.

“As you know, President Trump has proposed a peace plan, and the international community has already welcomed it. We also welcome it, and I hope that, as a result of implementing the plan, it will ultimately be possible to establish peace in the Gaza Strip. Last year, Armenia recognized the Palestinian state, and we are closely monitoring the developments. We hope that, in the end, peace will be established through President Trump’s efforts and with the support of the international community,” Pashinyan said.
