EAEU lifts fuel import duties until mid-2026

The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, the executive body of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), has adopted a decision to eliminate import customs duties on gasoline, jet fuel, diesel fuel, marine fuel, and other types of gasoils until June 30, 2026.

The office of Armenia's Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan reported that the decision was made to ensure balance in the domestic petrol market, given local production declines and seasonal increases in demand.

The decision will enter into force 10 days after publication.
