UNGA High-Level Week: Armenian, Cuban FMs discuss development of cooperation

Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Cuban counterpart Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla during UNGA High-Level Week in New York.

The foreign ministers discussed opportunities for further development of cooperation between Armenia and Cuba, according to a press release issued by the Armenian foreign ministry.

“Ararat Mirzoyan and Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla exchanged views on issues affecting the effectiveness of multilateralism and the international system. The mutual readiness to enhance interaction between the two countries on multilateral platforms was emphasized. During the meeting developments in the South Caucasus, particularly the agreements reached on establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan were also touched upon,” the ministry said.
