Investigative Committee chief meets Iranian Justice Minister in Yerevan

Armenia's Investigative Committee Chairman Artur Poghosyan has met with visiting Iranian Justice Minister Amin Hossein Rahimi.

Chairman Poghosyan emphasized that, especially in recent years, cooperation between the law enforcement systems of the two countries has taken on a new dimension — manifested through daily working interactions, information exchange, and formats of mutual practical support, the Investigative Committee said in a readout.

The Iranian Minister of Justice praised the established partnership between the two countries’ law enforcement agencies and their willingness to jointly address issues.

Poghosyan expressed his gratitude to outgoing Iranian Ambassador Mehdi Sobhani for his significant contribution to strengthening cooperation and ties with the Investigative Committee.

The two sides also discussed prospects for expanding their existing cooperation.
