Armenian, Omani foreign ministers discuss expansion of cooperation

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a meeting with Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi during the UNGA High-Level Week in New York.

The foreign ministers expressed satisfaction with the dynamic development of political dialogue between Armenia and Oman and discussed new opportunities to expand cooperation in specific areas, the foreign ministry said in a press release.

During the meeting, recent developments in the South Caucasus and the Middle East were also discussed.

Minister Mirzoyan emphasized that, in the context of the established peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Armenia places great importance on active cooperation to expand communication networks, including through the implementation of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP).
