Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced during his speech at the UN General Assembly that the process of normalizing relations between Ankara and Yerevan is ongoing.
Erdogan praised the steps taken on August 8 of this year, “thanks to which a stable peace will be established between Armenia and Azerbaijan.”
"I would like to once again congratulate Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, as well as U.S. President Donald Trump for their contribution to this process. I would also like to note that the normalization of relations between our country and Armenia is proceeding as planned," Erdogan said.
