Armenia Security Council Secretary hosts farewell dinner for outgoing Iranian Ambassador

Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan has held a farewell dinner with outgoing Iranian Ambassador Mehdi Sobhani, Grigoryan's office has said.

Grigoryan thanked Ambassador Sobhani for his work, noting that during his tenure Armenia–Iran relations had reached a new level. He congratulated the ambassador on being awarded the Order of Friendship and wished him success in his future activities.

Ambassador Sobhani, in turn, expressed gratitude to the Secretary of the Security Council for constructive cooperation and emphasized that he had made every effort to contribute to the development of bilateral relations. He added that he leaves Armenia with only warm memories.

They also discussed issues of mutual interest.
