The Real Armenia ideology was formed as a result of direct contacts with the public, while the agenda of peace of the government was developed during the 2021 pre-election campaign, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said.
“The people are the author of the Real Armenia ideology. The 2021 campaign was unique in that we were not only in the role of speaker, but also in the role of listener. A new content developed during the campaigning, and the agenda of peace was formed during that time,” Pashinyan said, adding that he has maintained contacts with the people after the elections as well.
The Prime Minister said that during the meetings, the attendance of middle-aged and older women was particularly noticeable.
"They usually don’t attend rallies, and at the time I was curious—why were they coming [to these meetings]? This policy was shaped as a result of interacting with those people—of course, not all at once. The substance comes, settles in, is digested; you start to think, to analyze," Pashinyan said.
