Lilit Makunts appointed PM's chief advisor after leaving office as ambassador to U.S.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has appointed Lilit Makunts to serve as his chief advisor.

The decree was published online on Friday.

Makunts previously served as Armenian Ambassador to the United States from 2021 until she was replaced by Narek Mkrtchyan earlier this week.
