President Khachaturyan meets with outgoing Egyptian Ambassador

President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Armenia Serenade Gamil  on the occasion of the completion of her diplomatic mission.

The President thanked the Ambassador for her effective work during her tenure and her significant contribution to strengthening  Armenia- Egypt relations.

Ambassador Gamil, in turn, expressed gratitude for the support provided by the President and Armenian authorities throughout her mission, noting that she would carry with her warm and kind memories of Armenia.

During the meeting, the sides discussed cooperation in political, economic, cultural, tourism, and other spheres, highlighting the potential for further deepening collaboration. They also exchanged views on bilateral initiatives and high-level visits, as well as opportunities to promote investments aimed at fostering closer ties between business circles.

The perspectives of enhancing both bilateral and multilateral cooperation were also addressed. In this context, President Khachaturyan emphasized the importance of Armenia’s “Crossroads of Peace” project, noting that "favorable conditions have been created for its implementation in light of ongoing developments towards establishing sustainable peace in the region."
