President Khachaturyan visits ASKE GROUP steel casting enterprise in Charentsavan

President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan visited the ASKE GROUP steel casting enterprise in Charentsavan, the largest in Armenia, the presidential office has said.

He toured the facilities, including a 40-ton electric arc furnace and continuous casting lines. The plant’s annual capacity is about 300,000 tons of steel and up to 175,000 tons of rebar. Since 2022, investments of around 20 billion drams have been made, largely with state support.

At the company’s office, ongoing activities and future projects were discussed, including the development of a solar PV station, aluminum battery production, and government policy in the metallurgical sector.
