The various cooperation agreements signed between Armenia and Iran on Tuesday will enhance and strengthen partnership between the two countries, Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan told reporters.
Papoyan elaborated on several documents.
One of the documents pertains to stronger cooperation in tourism.
“We hope that in case of the full implementation of the documents the difficulties during land travel to Iran will no longer happen. Of course, this also pertains to the opposite direction, our goal is to simplify also the tourism visits from Iran to Armenia,” he said.
The document will boost tourism, he said.
The second document is aimed at deepening trade-commercial ties, particularly in the standard certification systems.
“This is about the processes during exports and imports at the border and prior to reaching the border being simplified, for businesses to deal with one single, accessible and predictable method instead of several standards,” Papoyan said.
