Iranian President to visit Armenia, Belarus

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s next week’s foreign trip will include Belarus, apart from his scheduled visit to Armenia, Iranian state media reported.

 “Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will have a two-day trip to Armenia and Belarus on Monday,” Mehr news agency quoted Mahdi Sanaei, Pezeshkian’s advisor, as saying.

Strengthening bilateral relations, especially in the business field and signing documents, is one of the goals of the trip, he said.

The Armenian government earlier said that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will visit Armenia on an official trip on August 18-19.
