‘Glimmer of hope’ for Ukraine peace talks – Italian PM after US-Russia summit

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said after the US-Russia summit in Alaska that a “glimmer of hope” has opened for peace talks in Ukraine.

“A glimmer of hope has finally opened for peace talks in Ukraine. Italy is doing its part, along with its Western allies,” Meloni said in a post on X.
