Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan spoke by phone on Tuesday with his Kazakh counterpart and Deputy Prime Minister Murat Nurtleu. Mirzoyan presented the outcomes of last week’s Washington talks involving U.S. President Donald Trump, which are of great significance for ensuring lasting peace in the South Caucasus, the Foreign Ministry said in a press release.
He thanked Nurtleu for Kazakhstan’s shared vision and support for the process.
The two foreign ministers exchanged views on expanding the mutually beneficial and strategically oriented partnership between Armenia and Kazakhstan. They also discussed the opportunities arising from the unblocking of regional connections and the development of transport links.
