PM Pashinyan holds phone call with Georgian counterpart Kobakhidze

A phone conversation between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze took place, the Prime Minister's Office has said.

Nikol Pashinyan presented to his counterpart the results of the negotiations held in the US capital, Washington, on August 8, 2025, in particular, the initialing of the “Agreement on Peace and Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan”, the joint application to the OSCE on the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group mechanisms, the unblocking of regional communications within the framework of the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, and jurisdiction of countries and on the basis of reciprocity, as well as the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” project.

Nikol Pashinyan thanked Irakli Kobakhidze for publicly welcoming the agreements reached in Washington.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on the agenda of bilateral and regional relations.

They shared the opinion that peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan opens up new opportunities for the entire South Caucasus region.
