The Georgian Foreign Ministry has welcomed the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, signed in Washington under the auspices of US President Donald Trump.
“We welcome the historic peace agreement on the “Establishment of Peace and Inter-State Relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia ”, reached in Washington under the auspices of the President of the United States, Donald Trump.
This landmark accord constitutes a pivotal milestone toward securing lasting peace in the South Caucasus and provides a solid foundation for new opportunities for the region’s long-term stability and development.
Georgia remains steadfast in its commitment to advancing peace and strengthening regional cooperation,” the ministry said in a post on X.
