EU Enlargement Commissioner congratulates Armenia and Azerbaijan on initialing peace agreement

EU High Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos has congratulated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on the initialing of the peace agreement between the two countries. 

"I congratulate President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on initialling a peace agreement. This is a decisive step towards lasting peace and stability.
 
I look forward to my upcoming visit to Armenia and Azerbaijan and stand ready to support the normalisation process and regional connectivity," the EU Enlargement Commissioner has posted.
