Lilit Mkrtchyan wins bronze at European Shooting Championships

Armenian athlete Lilit Mkrtchyan won bronze medal at the European Shooting Championships in France. Mkrtchyan claimed a bronze medal in the individual women’s 50-meter running target event, scoring 572 points in the final. The event was won by Finland’s Julianna Ida Heikkilä with 581 points. Ukraine’s Galina Avramenko took silver with 573 points.
In the team competition, the Gohar Harutyunyan-Lilit Mkrtchyan-Arusyak Grigoryan trio of Armenia secured the silver medal with a combined score of 1685 points. The Ukrainian team took gold with 1696 points, while Finland placed third with 1666 points.
