Armenian Speaker of Parliament receives Chinese Ambassador

On July 17, the Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Armenia, Li Xinwei, the  parliament’s press service said in a readout.

Speaker Simonyan congratulated the Ambassador and expressed hope that his activities would give new momentum to the cooperation between the two countries and help realize its full potential.

The meeting also focused on regional security and issues of mutual interest.
