President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan received Mesrop Mesropyan, Chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) of Armenia, the Presidential Office has said.
The meeting focused on a range of current issues in the public services sector, as well as possible directions for regulation. In particular, issues related to Armenia’s electricity networks were discussed in the context of ensuring the effective and reliable management of strategically important infrastructure.
President Khachaturyan emphasized the need for the stable and secure operation of such infrastructure. He noted that legislative clarification related to temporary management mechanisms in emergency situations is a key issue on the agenda.
Chairman Mesropyan presented the work carried out by the Commission and briefed the President on upcoming initiatives aimed at fostering the sector’s development.
