FM Mirzoyan congratulates French counterpart on Bastille Day

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan has sent a congratulatory message to the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of France Jean-Noël Barrot on the occasion of the National Day of France.

 “I extend my warmest wishes to Jean-Noël Barrot on the occasion of July 14. Armenia attaches great importance to deep and strategic relations with France, both on bilateral and multilateral platforms, including within the framework of the Armenia-EU partnership,” Mirzoyan said in a post on X.

July 14th, known as Bastille Day, is France's national holiday, commemorating the storming of the Bastille prison in 1789, a pivotal event that marked the beginning of the French Revolution and the end of the monarchy. The day is celebrated with a military parade on the Champs-Élysées in Paris.
