Head of Azerbaijani diaspora in Moscow region deported from Russia

Elshan Ibrahimov, the head of the Azerbaijani diaspora in the Moscow region, is being deported from the Russian Federation, Izvestia reported.

A correspondent of Izvestia witnessed Ibrahimov at Sheremetyevo Airport preparing to leave the country. In a brief interview, Ibrahimov declined to comment on the deportation decision.

Earlier, Russian authorities revoked Ibrahimov's citizenship, for "violating the rules of stay in the country."
