Investigators reportedly raid head office of ENA, executive’s home

Media reports suggest law enforcement officers have raided the offices of Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA), the country’s electric utility, and the home of its Chairman of the Board Narek Karapetyan, the nephew of ENA owner tycoon Samvel Karapetyan.

Asked to comment, a spokesperson for the Investigative Committee told Armenpress , “Urgent investigative actions are carried out as part of criminal proceedings launched at the General Department of Economic Crimes and Smuggling Investigations and the Yerevan Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee. An official statement will be released soon.”
