The Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian reaffirmed that the Islamic Republic will continue to defend its people, territory, and security in the face of foreign threats.
Pezeshkian made the comments in a post on the X social media platform Wednesday, praising Iran for its beauty and rich civilization, ISNA reported.
“We possess a wealth of experience within the heart of Iranian culture and civilization for alleviating the suffering of humanity,” Pezeshkian said in the post attached with footage showing natural and historical sites across Iran.
“Iran is full of beauty. Friendship abounds in every corner of it. We have always sought to build bridges with other nations, not walls. We are advocates of peace, enemies of war, and at the same time, resolute in defending Iran’s borders, security, and people,” he said.
