Arrests made near Investigative Committee as investigation into Archbishop Ajapahyan continues

Law-enforcement officers arrested  a group of individuals near the building of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia and took to police departments,the Press Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Narek Sargsyan has said.

"A group of people have been arrested and taken to the territorial subdivisions of the Community Police within the framework of the criminal proceedings," Sargsyan said, without providing further details.

Investigative actions are currently underway at the Investigative Committee in connection with the criminal case initiated against the Primate of the Shirak Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
