The Iranian Ambassador to Armenia, Mehdi Sobhani, said on Friday that Armenia and Iran are continuing discussions to organize a visit by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to Armenia.

“Both sides are working on organizing the Iranian president’s visit to Armenia. Even under these difficult circumstances [conflict with Israel], I met with representatives of the Armenian Foreign Ministry to discuss the matter. We exchanged lists of documents that could be signed during the visit. We are now reviewing all the planned programs for the president in order to make this visit possible this summer, if the opportunity arises,” he said at a press conference.
