Defense Minister inspects construction of modular military base

Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan visited on Wednesday the construction sites of a military training center and a modular military base.

He was accompanied by First Deputy Minister of Defense, Chief of the General Staff Lt. general Edward Asryan and Governor of Armavir Province Argishti Mekhakyan, the defense ministry said in a press release.

Papikyan inspected the final construction phase and reviewed the conditions of the modular barracks.

He stressed the importance of high-quality construction.
